Web Design Intern: Manage WordPress & Grow a Site

How to manage day-to-day operations in a startup. How to refine your soft skills through coaching from us. Responsibilities: Website Management Manage website strategy and updates via WordPress. Format, upload, and update website content (photos, videos, promotions) to increase website traffic. Update the website with blog posts, newsletters, and written content. Oversee the 1:1 coaching platform, making updates and troubleshooting as needed. Ensure the website is user-friendly with clear, functional navigation. Manage third-party assets (e.g., fonts, themes, photos, plug-ins), and additional costs if applicable. Audience Engagement Propose strategies to boost website traffic and social media visibility. Recommend ways to increase audience engagement and customer conversion. Miscellaneous Respond to emails, Slack, and other communication within 24 hours of receiving the information. Other duties as assigned. Must have valid work status (U.S. Citizens and Permanent Residents can disregard this). We will not be able to sponsor you for any other type of visa, e.g. H-1B. You may use your OPT (optional practical training) hours with us. We will not be able to pay for any costs associated with work status and eligibility. You may first need approval from your school and/or the U.S. Government before interning with us. Please take care of this before interviewing with us. Commit to a minimum of 8 months for the internship with the possibility of extension or promotion Commit to a minimum of 10 hours a week to assigned tasks, meetings, and ASA events (we will reimburse you for any required travel). Self-driven with the ability to work both independently and as a team member. Basic networking skills and command of conversational skills for interaction with clients and teammates in remote settings. Non-compete clause: While working for ASA, you are not allowed to work as a volunteer, part-time, or full-time employee with any competing organization or company that offers our business plan.
