Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN): Preferred
• Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice: Required
• Current Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification: Required
• AHA-ACLS or ARC-ALS certification: Required
• At least two years recent experience in field
• EPIC experience: Required

Responsibilities

• Deliver coordinated nursing care for patients according to established standards and nursing process.
• Supervise and direct activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff.
• Coordinate care with other disciplines while utilizing critical thinking and professional discretion.
• Collect and analyze relevant data related to patient health.
• Develop and implement care plans and evaluate progress toward outcomes.
• Collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare providers in delivering patient care.
• Provide learning opportunities for patients and their families.
• Participate in discharge planning to ensure continuity of care.
• Delegate appropriately and coordinate duties of healthcare team members.
