James Island ER Clinical Nurse Coordinator RN

HCA Healthcare is seeking a James Island ER Clinical Nurse Coordinator RN to support our Healthcare & Medical Services team within the emergency department. In this key leadership role, you will balance direct bedside care with clinical coordination responsibilities, ensuring that patients in our James Island emergency room receive timely, safe, and compassionate care. As a registered nurse with strong emergency experience, you will serve as a clinical resource and role model, guiding nursing practice, supporting patient flow, and working closely with physicians, advanced practice providers, and interdisciplinary partners.

The ER Clinical Nurse Coordinator RN provides expert nursing care to patients across the lifespan, performing rapid assessments, triage, and evidence-based interventions for a wide range of acute and emergent conditions. You will oversee daily operations on your assigned shifts, helping to manage bed placement, prioritize care based on acuity, and coordinate staffing assignments to maintain safe nurse-to-patient ratios. You will support the team in responding to high-acuity situations, including cardiac and respiratory emergencies, trauma, stroke, and sepsis, and will actively participate in resuscitations and rapid response events using current ACLS and PALS standards.
