HR Manager
Butcher Power Products
Position Summary
Butcher Power Products is experiencing significant growth and is building the internal people infrastructure necessary to support the next stage of our evolution. We are hiring an HR Manager to lead HR Operations and establish the systems, processes, and leadership practices needed to scale the organization.
Many of our HR processes are still early in their maturity, and we are transitioning from a historically PEO-supported model toward stronger internal capability. We are looking for a leader who enjoys building structure, improving processes, developing people, and creating scalable HR practices that support both employees and managers.
This role will oversee employee relations, compliance, benefits, leave administration, payroll coordination, HR operations, manager support, people processes, and HR service delivery while leading a team that includes a Lead HR Generalist, HR Generalist, and future HR Coordinator (People Operations).
As BPP continues scaling toward a substantially larger workforce over the coming years, the HR Manager will play a key role in ensuring our HR function grows alongside the business.
You will report to the VP of HR & Talent and partner closely with leaders across Operations, Engineering, Finance, Safety, Training, Recruiting, and executive leadership.
What You Will Do
Lead the HR Operations Team

A Note on the Role
This is a build-and-scale leadership role. Some processes are still being developed and priorities will continue to evolve as the business grows. Success requires strong judgment, ownership, collaboration, and a willingness to build rather than simply maintain. Butcher Power Products is in a period of rapid growth and continues to strengthen its internal HR capabilities after years of operating within a PEO-supported model. The HR organization is still early in its evolution, creating a unique opportunity to shape the future of the function, establish scalable systems, and develop practices that support long-term success.
As the company grows, so will the HR team, scope of responsibility, and leadership opportunities. If you want to help build an HR organization rather than inherit one, this is a unique opportunity to do exactly that.
