Description:
This position involves working in a Med-Surg overflow unit, handling post-surgical patients and those under observation.
A patient ratio of 1:6-7 is expected, transitioning towards team nursing.
LPNs will be hired to assist in this transition.
First-time travelers will not be accepted; travel experience is mandatory.
On-call work will be required as needed.
Weekend shifts may be needed as per unit requirements.
Local candidates residing within a 100-mile radius will not be considered.
All travelers must comply with licensing guidelines.
Request for time off must be included at the time of submission.
No additional requests for time off will be honored after submission.
Candidates must be open to working during the major holidays, including Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year, if they fall during the assignment.
Travelers must have a minimum of two years of experience for all specialties, with three years preferred.
Previous travel experience is required, with at least one completed travel assignment.
Familiarity with Cerner is preferred.
Vaccination status should be included in the submission.
Travelers must live at least 100 miles from the facility to be considered.
