Pharmacy Technician - Data Entry

Job Summary: Responsible for all aspects related to entering the medication orders for various facilities.Ensuring that all Third Party claims are billed properly.Job Duties:Provides customer service and problem resolution to assigned facilitiesResponsible for accurate data entry of patient profiles and medicationsMaintaining accurate information for patients and facilitiesResponsible for billing and crediting each facility appropriately and accurately each monthMaintain and keep reasonable production as determined by supervisorMay be required to travel to individual homes for meetings or drug exchangesMay assist in orienting and training new employeesResponsible for completing all mandatory and regulatory training programsPerform other duties as assignedJob Skill Requirements:Strong communication skillsOutstanding customer service skillsExcellent organization skillsAbility to multitask and prioritizeBroad knowledge of medications and physician ordersGeneral computer and keyboarding skillsSuccessful completion of a pre-employment and/or random drug screening testEducational Requirements:Minimum: High School Diploma or GEDPreferred: AS Degree or Higher in Business Administration or related fieldExperience:Preferred Hospital or Retail pharmacy experience preferred3-6 months experience as a pharmacy technician #J-18808-Ljbffr
