Advanced Practice Provider - APP - Cardiac Surgery

SSM Health-SLUCare is seeking an experienced advanced practice provider to join our growing service line. SLUCare represents the academic medical practice of Saint Louis University, known for leading-edge care and groundbreaking research. This inpatient position will work in the cardiac stepdown unit. Job Highlights Provide clinical care to patients transitioning from the Cardiac Surgery ICU to the step-down setting; evaluate and develop plan of care for new patient consults. Perform detailed assessments, monitor/evaluate cardiac status, manage patient through the pre-post-op period, initiate/refine medical management, participate in multi-disciplinary rounds, care coordination, discharge planning and education, chest tube/pacing wire removal, wound care. Anticipate (3) 12-13-hour shifts per week with weekend rotation of 1:5 and holiday rotation. No Call/No Nights.
