You will receive qualified leads generated through our big box retail partnerships, meet with potential customers, present options, provide accurate estimates, and guide them toward a confident purchasing decision. If you are organized, consultative, and driven to turn opportunities into closed sales, this role is for you. You Will Be Trusted To: Follow up promptly on qualified leads provided by Jacobs Overhead Door’s retail lead generation team Schedule and meet with potential customers to understand their needs, preferences, budget, and timeline Recommend appropriate garage door products and services, explain available options, and provide accurate estimates Manage the sales process from initial lead contact through consultation, proposal, closing, and post-sale follow-up Use consultative selling techniques to address questions, overcome objections, and convert qualified opportunities into sales Maintain accurate records of leads, appointments, proposals, customer communications, and sales activity in the company CRM Coordinate with internal operations and installation teams to support a smooth customer experience and represent Jacobs Overhead Door with professionalism and integrity You Qualify With: 1-2 years of sales experience, preferably in garage doors, home services, commercial services, construction, or a related industry High School Diploma or GED A valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and a clean driving record Strong communication, presentation, negotiation, and closing skills Basic math and computer knowledge, including the ability to prepare estimates and maintain accurate CRM records Ability to prioritize leads, manage an appointment schedule, and stay organized in a fast-paced environment Availability to meet with potential customers during days, evenings, and weekends based on customer needs Additional Success: Experience with residential or commercial sales, one-call close environments, or big box retail lead programs Familiarity with ServiceTitan or other sales or CRM software Knowledge of garage door products, residential or commercial construction, or property improvement services Our Investment in You: Competitive pay with performance-based earning opportunities and uncapped sales potential Paid training and ongoing product and sales support A steady opportunity pipeline supported by established big box retail lead generation partnerships Opportunities for professional growth and advancement A customer-focused work environment where your contributions are appreciated The opportunity to strengthen consultative selling, closing, and customer relationship-management skills A respected local brand backed by a team committed to exceptional customer service Equal Opportunity Employer: Jacobs Overhead Door is proud to be an equal opportunity employer.
