About Service Robot Co.

Service Robot Co. helps businesses across all 50 states choose, deploy and maintain commercial robots, with 24/7 support. We supply all types of robots for all types of automation. We handle site assessments, robot selection, installation, system integration and team training. Purchase, financing and rental options are available, backed by ongoing maintenance and repairs. One partner from your first consultation through everyday operation.

The role

Install and maintain hardware inside data centers. You will work with remote engineers to complete physical tasks such as installing servers, running cables, and replacing failed parts.

What you will do

Install, cable, and label servers, switches, and storage equipment.
Replace drives, memory, power supplies, fans, and optical components.
Test repairs before closing work tickets.
Run, terminate, and test copper and fiber cabling.
Follow diagrams, work instructions, and approved maintenance schedules.
Give remote engineers clear updates on what you see and do.
Record equipment serial numbers, connections, and locations.
Follow site security procedures when removing or disposing of hardware.

What we are looking for

Experience in IT support, cabling, AV, electronics repair, or building computers.
Ability to follow detailed instructions and keep accurate records.
Comfort working independently and communicating with remote engineers.
Availability for overnight maintenance work.
Comfort working on your feet in cold, noisy rooms with hearing protection.
Ability to pass a background check and site security screening.

Training

You will complete an online course through our Service Robot Co. Academy, followed by in-person training and the industry certifications needed for this role. Training and certifications are free for selected candidates. Your first assignment is paid, with a specialist supporting you remotely.
