This position champions member access management and the authentication strategy, balancing robust security and fraud risk mitigation with an exceptional member experience. This candidate will partner closely with technology, architecture, experience, and risk teams to deliver cutting-edge authentication capabilities while maintaining strong control over security outcomes and meeting stringent regulatory requirements.Support the MIAM business in performing risk assessments, analyzing and updating policies, frameworks, standards and processes as a first line of defense function. Serves as a fraud risk management executor to ensure documents, projects, programs, processes, and product initiatives comply with regulatory, legal requirements, and fraud policies and standards. Partners and collaborates with the lines of business, Compliance and Risk Management, Audit Services, Legal, and Regulators to support enterprise fraud management-based initiatives. Writes detailed requirements and puts together necessary documents to articulate how the tools and systems need to function based on business direction and objectives.This role is remote eligible in the continental U.S. with occasional business travel. However, individuals residing within a 60-mile radius of a USAA office (San Antonio, TX, Plano, TX, Phoenix, AZ, Colorado Springs, CO, Charlotte, NC, or Tampa, FL) will be expected to work on-sitefourdays per week.What you'll do:Independently leverages Digital or Technology research, business and market intelligence, and data-driven insights to identify opportunities, propose solutions, create and maintain roadmaps, and improve performance.Translates Digital or Technology product and experience opportunities (customer 'needs' and 'wants' as well as all other input forms into problems, gaps, etc.) into initiatives (i.e., requirements, epics, features) and drives execution strategy.Shepherds complex Digital or Technology product and experience opportunities from idea to market validation through collaboration with all relevant stakeholders and SMEs (Business, UX, Technology, Ops, Marketing, etc.).Leads the development of Business Case artifacts and hypotheses for scoping and prioritization of efforts.Continuously leverages advanced data-driven problem-solving techniques and analytical rigor to understand and report on product and experience performance against KPIs/KRIs.Generates meaningful insights through a variety of tools and resources to uncover areas of opportunity to inform Digital or Technology product and experience improvements.Leads cross-functional product teams and relationships to discover and build new Digital or Technology products, experiences, and features by collaborating with stakeholders and organizational leaders to coordinate product development efforts aligned with strategic priorities.Prepares compelling presentations, and other forms of communication standards and templates, to present and communicate complex concepts to a diverse audience, including senior leadership.Conducts internal and external research and conducts situational analysis to identify and apply industry best practices and trends to increase effectiveness of Digital or Technology products.Begins to bring in 'big picture' thinking and seeks to drive clarity among team and stakeholders.Maintains and applies advanced knowledge of the Business, Technology, UX, and relevant experiences and processes, and an academic understanding of Product Management.Serves as a resource to team members and assists with on-boarding new employees.Ensures risks associated with business activities are effectively identified, measured, monitored, and controlled in accordance with risk and compliance policies and procedures.What you have:Bachelor's degree; OR 4 years of relevant education and/or experience.6 years of operations experience in a relevant functional area to include financial services, Fraud, AML, compliance, risk, audit, third party risk management or other related operational areas that support fraud risk management initiatives within the business.4 years of fraud, compliance, risk, audit, or regulatory related experience with accountability for projects, programs, processes, or policies.Proven knowledge of relevant laws, regulatory, compliance, industry regulations and regulatory data sources.Demonstrated analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities requiring a high attention to detail to identify fraud risks and trends.Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate and execute among cross-functional teams, including all levels of the organization and with external regulatory agencies.What sets you apart:Experience translating complex business needs into clear, precise, and actionable requirements for technical development and analytical teams.Collaborated with engineering, design, security, and risk teams to deliver secure and user-friendly authentication capabilities.Supported the product lifecycle for authentication solutions, from ideation through launch and iteration.Demonstrated proactivity and drive, consistently exceeding expectations by seeking learning opportunities and making an impact without direct assignment.Experience in a Product Management, Business Analyst, or related role, with involvement in authentication or key aspects of identity and access management (IAM)Knowledge of industry best practices, emerging trends, and regulatory considerations in authentication and identity management.Compensation range: The salary range for this position is: $114,080 - $218,030.USAA does not provide visa sponsorship for this role. You are paid within the salary range based on your experience and market data of the position. The actual salary for this role may vary by location.
