DescriptionKforce has a client that is seeking an Accounts Payable Manager in Rockville, MD.Summary:Our client is seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Manager to oversee the day-to-day AP function and lead a team of AP professionals. This role will manage the full-cycle AP process, ensure accurate and timely invoice processing and payments, maintain strong vendor relationships, and support internal controls and process improvements.Key Responsibilities:* Lead and oversee daily accounts payable operations and staff* Manage full-cycle AP, including invoice processing, approvals, reconciliations, and payments* Review AP aging and resolve discrepancies and vendor issues* Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with company policies and controls* Support month-end close and AP reporting* Identify opportunities to improve AP processes and efficiencyRequirements* 5+ years of progressive Accounts Payable experience* 2+ years of AP leadership or management experience* Experience with ERP/accounting systems and Microsoft Excel* Strong knowledge of full-cycle AP and accounting processes* Strong attention to detail, organization, and problem-solving skills* Excellent communication and team leadership abilitiesJob TypeDirect HireCompensation100000 - $130000
