In this role, you will be responsible for implementing our Security and Emergency Services programs and providing outreach within the community.Available Schedule:Full-Time, Day Shift, 7:00am - 7:00pmCompensation:Security Officer I: Starting at $17.00, based on experienceSecurity Officer II: (EMR/EMT Certified): Starting at $18.00, based on experienceWhat We Offer:A culture of diversity, inclusion, equity and belonging, which builds on our mission, vision and valuesMedical, dental and vision packages, including an annual reimbursement for qualified wellness expenses, personal health coaching and telemedicine optionsPTO Plans, PLUS company paid volunteer hours for eligible team members, in accordance with applicable state law401k for all team members 18 and over with a company 3% matchOnsite medical centers, providing wellness visits and sick care for all team members over 18 years of age30% discount on food and drinks at on-site dining venues, plus additional healthy choice meal options at discounted pricesGrowth Opportunities – grow with the company as we open new communities and expand on our existing ones!How You Will Make An Impact:Security Officer II:Perform regular patrols of the property, provide relief staffing for the gatehouse, and respond to emergency and routine calls for serviceEnforce all traffic and parking regulationsRespond to calls for service from dispatch and securityRespond to medical emergencies and provide efficient care utilizing all basic interventionsFollow up on reports of missing items, theft, vandalism, and other potential criminal activityUtilize local police, fire, and EMS; effectively during emergencies.Complete thorough and detailed incident reports using our online report systemSecurity Officer I:Participate in routine interior and exterior patrols of the buildings and groundsConduct safety checks and inspections in support of Life Safety and OSHA complianceReceive calls for non-emergency service from dispatch and security by radio or telephone and responds timely and appropriatelyRespond and assists in Community Emergencies, including but not limited to; fires, floods, severe weather, hazardous materials incidents, bomb threats, and evacuationsCreate the best initial impression of the communityScreen all vehicle and pedestrian traffic entering the communityDocument all visitors and vendors/contractors and provides proper parking passes, maps, and instructs visitors to park in appropriate spacesWhat You Will Need:Must be at least 18 years oldPossess and maintain a valid driver's licensePrior experience in Security and/or Emergency Medical Services is preferredProactive, vigilant and detail-oriented approaches with a strong commitment to quality, efficiency and effectivenessCurrent CPR for Healthcare Providers certificationSecurity Officer II: Current Emergency Medical Responder certification. (Higher level certification/licensure is acceptable as a condition of hire,).Please note that specific state regulations and requirements may be applicable.
