Construction Superintendent

Tesla is seeking a Construction Superintendent to join our team in Lathrop, CA, where you will play a key role in delivering high-impact construction projects that support our mission. • Coordinate and supervise on-site construction activities, including direct hire and subcontractors
• Ensure frequent communication with key project stake holders
• Drive the project schedule and elevate construction issues to management
• Coordinate installation and start-up with equipment vendors and facilities teams
• Ensure a high level of quality and safety is maintained during field execution
• Continual Process Improvement evaluation of field work to continue to increase efficiencies

• 5+ years of Construction experience
• Previous experience as a Superintendent on large scale industrial or commercial facility construction projects
• Experience supervising mechanical and piping scopes including detailed planning through Commissioning and Start-up
• Knowledge of construction standards
• Ability to work within a high-performance, cross-functional organization with extremely tight timelines and aggressive goals
• Understanding of construction design documents and ability to provide constructability feedback prior to and during construction
