Job Description As Senior Finance Manager, Financial Planning & Analysis you will operate at the center of strategy, decision‑making, and transformation. You will help shape enterprise priorities, influence senior leaders, and build the capabilities that define the future of Finance. Your responsibilities include shaping how decisions get made through insight‑driven storytelling, transforming processes and tools using data, automation, and AI, building and developing a high‑performing team, and driving enterprise‑wide impact. Responsibilities Act as a trusted advisor to senior leadership by translating complex financial and operational data into clear, compelling insights that influence enterprise decisions and strategic priorities. Lead scenario planning, risk assessment, root cause analysis, and prioritization efforts to focus leadership on the most critical business opportunities and risks. Lead operating plans, forecasts, and long‑range planning activities with a value‑creation mindset while ensuring disciplined execution and governance across FP&A processes. Build and oversee advanced financial models, including scenario, sensitivity, workforce planning, and ROI‑based investment analysis to support strategic and operational decision‑making. Support enterprise initiatives and cross‑functional programs through financial leadership, business case development, performance tracking, and post‑implementation analysis. Contribute to long‑term strategy with an enterprise‑wide and commercially grounded perspective that supports sustainable business performance and growth. Lead and develop a high‑performing FP&A team by building capability in financial storytelling, business partnership, influence, accountability, and continuous growth. Leverage dashboards, analytics, predictive modeling, and AI/ML‑enabled solutions to accelerate insight generation, improve decision‑making, and optimize investment prioritization and cost management. Champion automation, scalable solutions, and strong data governance practices to enhance efficiency, accuracy, systems integration, and data quality across FP&A processes. Deliver clear, concise, and impactful financial storytelling while influencing stakeholders through credibility, insight, and strong executive presence; lead initiatives with strong project and process management discipline, balancing strategic thinking with detail‑oriented execution excellence and a continuous improvement mindset. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Analytics, or related field. 10+ years of experience in FP&A, corporate finance, or related roles. 3‑5+ years of experience leading and developing teams. Strong strategic and analytical thinker with an enterprise mindset and strong business and commercial acumen. Strong proficiency in Advanced Excel and PowerPoint, with experience using ERP and planning tools (e.g., Oracle, SAP, Anaplan, Adaptive) and data visualization platforms (e.g., Power BI). Strong leadership presence grounded in accountability and ownership, with a curious, growth‑oriented mindset and comfort operating in ambiguity. Experience supporting enterprise planning, forecasting, and strategic initiatives. Experience supporting complex, cross‑functional initiatives. Master of Business Administration (MBA) preferred. Certified Public Accountant (CPA) preferred. Certified Management Accountant (CMA) preferred. Certified Financial Analyst preferred. Additional Information This is a hybrid position. During the first three months of employment, team members are expected to work onsite approximately three days per week in either our Oakland, CA or Rancho Cordova, CA office for onboarding and training. After this initial period, the role transitions to approximately one day per week onsite. Pay Grade 24: $123,624 – $267,852 (national base pay range).
