Fish Cutter

Job Title

Starting compensation: $23/hr Shift details: Sunday to Thursday; 9:00 am to Close Shamrock anticipates closing the application window for this job opportunity on or before December 31, 2026 This position is responsible for cutting, trimming & boning carcass sections or fillets to reduce cooking cuts.

Essential Duties:

• Cleaning, preparing fish, and discarding inedible parts.
• Cutting and weighing fillets and portions for individual servings.
• Receiving, inspecting and storing seafood upon delivery.
• Recording quantity of seafood received and issued.
• Basic cuts (fillet), scaling, portions (bias cut, square cut)
• Regular and reliable attendance.
• Performing other duties as assigned to meet business needs

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED
• Two-three years related experience and/or training
• Must have the ability of using cutting utensils and running an electric pallet jack or forklift.
• Must be flexible and willing to work the demands of the department which are subject to evenings, weekends, and holidays

Physical Demands:

• Regularly lifting and/or moving up to 100 pounds
• Frequently lifting and/or moving up to 50 pounds
• Occasionally lifting and/or moving up to 25 pounds.
• Visual Requirements: Close, distance, color and peripheral vision Depth perception The ability to adjust focus
