Work With Us | Maricopa County, AZ**We Require*** Two years of experience performing epidemiological or statistical analysis* Master’s Degree in epidemiology, biostatics, or a related Public Health Field* An equivalent combination of post-secondary education and/or job-related experience may substitute for the required experience on a year-for-year basis **We Also Value*** Experience working with wastewater data* Intermediate to advanced skills in analysis software such as R or SAS* Strong data visualization and communication skills* Background in program coordination **Job Contributions*** Conducts complex wastewater analyses, data integration, and troubleshoots data quality issues by using statistical software, such as R. Analyses can include trend or aberration detection, correlation, or modeling* Serves as NWSS ELC Project E Program Coordinator by collaborating with local, state, regional, and national-level partners to maintain and improve wastewater monitoring systems, data quality, and situational awareness. This can include organizing parter calls, managing data processing pipelines, providing programmatic overviews, regional and national call attendance, project management, sample collection, or administrative tasks* Fulfills data requests and produces wastewater-based epidemiological reports and dashboards for internal and external stakeholders. This can include quarterly utility reports, daily internal dashboards, or public-facing weekly dashboards and external partner reports* Develops protocols and provides training to Surveillance Branch personnel on processes and best practices.
