Network Specialist DutiesAs a Network Specialist you will perform the following duties:Determines networking needs and installs/reviews hardware and software to maintain network integrity and accessibility.Provides technical guidance, coordination, and advice for the planning, integration, upgrade, and maintenance of agency-wide and regional network hardware and systems.Conducts research to develop or acquire new IT products and services that increase system and user efficiency.Leads or participates in agency-wide network and IT program projects from design through support.Develops and designs methods and processes for testing, demonstrating, and prototyping new network technologies.
