Director of Clinical Services (LICSW or LPC Required) for a District of Columbia Department of Behavioral Health (DC DBH) Certified Core Service Agency (CSA) for Mental Health Rehabilitation Services for Children, Youth and Adults.
Washington, DC | Full-Time, In Person, Exempt$85,000$95,000 Base + $5,000 Signing Bonus
Doors of Hope, Inc. is conducting an executive search for a top-tier DC-licensed LICSW or LPC to serve as Director of Clinical Services the organizations senior clinical authority . This is a high-impact leadership role for an experienced clinician-executive ready to drive clinical quality, regulatory excellence, and operational accountability across a growing community-based behavioral health organization. This role is built for leaders with demonstrated command of DBH compliance, CARF accreditation, and utilization management not for first-time supervisors. What Youll Own
- Agency-wide clinical authority and decision-making
- DBH, CARF, and Comagine Health compliance and audit readiness
- Utilization management, medical necessity, and continuity of care
- Supervision and performance of Clinical Managers, licensed clinicians, nurses, and support staff
- Documentation quality, productivity, and EHR performance ( InSync preferred )
- Quality improvement, corrective action, and clinical systems strengthening
- Active DC LICSW or LPC (required)
- Approved DC clinical supervisor
- 57+ years senior clinical leadership experience
- Proven success in high-accountability, community-based behavioral health systems
- Executive presence, sound judgment, and regulatory mastery
- $85K$95K base salary + $5K signing bonus
- Direct influence over agency-wide clinical strategy
- Authority to stabilize, scale, and elevate clinical operations
- Mission-driven work with measurable community impact.
