Job Description

Join our dedicated team in the Cardiac Med-Surg Unit, where you will provide high-quality nursing care to patients with cardiac conditions. You will work within a supportive environment that prioritizes patient satisfaction and staff well-being.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and administer cardiac medications and drips including Cardizem and Heparin.
• Perform EKG rhythm identification to assist with patient assessments.
• Coordinate with unit secretaries and PCTs to ensure efficient patient care.
• Participate in self-scheduling and maintain a flexible work schedule, including weekend shifts.
• Utilize Meditech documentation system for accurate medical record keeping.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current RN license in good standing.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• Experience in med-surg nursing with cardiac telemetry knowledge.
• Proficient in EKG/cardiac rhythm identification.
• Familiarity with Meditech documentation system is preferred.
