Summary
We are currently representing a well-established mechanical contractor with over 50 years of success in the industry. They are seeking Assistant Project Managers at various experience levels to support their growing operations. This is a strong long-term opportunity with a clear pathway to Project Manager as the company continues to expand across commercial and industrial markets.

Key Responsibilities

• Support project delivery from preconstruction through closeout across commercial and industrial HVAC/Mechanical scopes

• Specialize in tenant improvement (TI), ground-up, and design-build mechanical construction projects

• Help establish project scope, schedules, and deliverables aligned with client and business goals

• Coordinate internal team members, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure project milestones are met

• Assist in preparing and managing project budgets, proposals, and documentation

• Utilize project management tools (Microsoft Office, scheduling software, estimating tools) to track performance

• Identify project risks and support problem-solving strategies when issues arise

• Contribute to progress tracking, reporting, and documentation

• Interface with clients and internal stakeholders to ensure communication and expectations are aligned

• Participate in project planning meetings and leadership reviews

• Perform other tasks as assigned to support successful project execution

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in the HVAC/mechanical construction industry

• Familiarity with industry standards, safety protocols, and construction project sequencing

• Hands-on understanding of HVAC systems, equipment, and installation methods is a plus

• Strong communication and organizational skills with ability to manage multiple tasks

• High school diploma or equivalent required

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or Construction Management preferred, but not required
