Commercial HVAC Service Technician

Snapshot / Role Overview
We're seeking a Commercial HVAC Service Technician in the Las Vegas metro to keep critical building systems running at peak performance.

Impact
- Keep commercial HVAC systems reliable so facilities stay comfortable and fully operational.
- Reduce costly downtime through strong preventive maintenance and fast, accurate diagnostics.
- Protect client relationships by delivering professional, on-time service calls.
- Support energy efficiency and equipment life across multi-site commercial portfolios.

Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair commercial HVAC equipment, including RTUs, chillers, and boilers.
- Perform preventive maintenance on packaged units, split systems, and related controls.
- Troubleshoot electrical, refrigeration, and airflow problems in the field.
- Respond to service calls and prioritize work based on urgency and client needs.
- Document findings, repairs, and recommendations clearly for each site.
- Communicate with customers and dispatch on job status and next steps.
- Maintain tools, truck stock, and safety compliance on every call.
- Recommend repairs or replacement options that improve system performance.

Requirements
Must-Haves
- Three or more years of commercial HVAC service experience.
- EPA Section 608 certification.
- Strong diagnostic skills across RTUs, chillers, and boilers.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to work independently and manage a daily service route.
Nice-to-Haves
- OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification.
- Experience with building automation systems or DDC controls.
- Familiarity with refrigeration or VRF systems.
