RN - PCU

Neuro-Progressive/Stepdown RN

This is a night shift position, working from 7 PM to 7:30 AM.

We are seeking a dedicated Neuro-Progressive/Stepdown RN with strong ICU experience. The candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a 5-bed Med-Surg rotation. Successful applicants must complete a Neuro-Progressive competency exam and skills checklist upon offer, and must have Epic experience.

Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive nursing care for patients in a Neuro-Progressive/Stepdown unit.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, provide interventions, and evaluate outcomes.
• Maintain accurate patient records using EMR systems, particularly Epic.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient care.
• Adhere to all policies and procedures related to patient care and safety.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• MUST have Neuro-Progressive/Stepdown or ICU nursing experience.
• 5-bed Med-Surg rotation experience is required for all applicants.
• Epic experience is mandatory.
• Current and valid state nursing license required.

Assignment Duration:

This is a 13-week contract position.
