Work Environment

The work setting is in a collaborative outpatient office environment, where Physical Therapists and supporting staff work closely to deliver optimal patient care. The office operates from Monday to Friday, 9 am to 5 pm, creating a predictable work schedule with no weekend shifts, allowing for a healthy work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations to assess patients' physical conditions and functional abilities, integrating patient history and consistent re-evaluation into the treatment process.
• Create personalized treatment plans based on individual assessments, ensuring alignment with patients' rehabilitation goals and preferences.
• Utilize hands-on techniques and therapeutic exercises to promote pain relief, enhance mobility, and restore function, frequently using modalities such as electrical stimulation and ultrasound.
• Educate patients on proper body mechanics, movement patterns, and injury prevention strategies to empower them in their rehabilitation journey.
• Continuously monitor and document patients' progress, making necessary adjustments to treatment plans as required to support optimal outcomes.
• Engage in interdisciplinary collaboration with other healthcare providers and specialists to ensure comprehensive and coordinated patient care.
• Maintain meticulous and accurate patient records, documenting treatment interventions and outcomes to support compliance and quality assurance initiatives.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our outpatient facility primarily serves a diverse range of patients experiencing conditions such as back and neck pain, joint pain due to osteoarthritis, tendonitis, sprains, strains, fractures, post-surgical recovery, and balance or gait deficits. The ideal candidate must be comfortable working with a variety of age groups and backgrounds, tailoring treatment to meet individual patient needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Current and valid state licensure as a Physical Therapist.
• Board certification from the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) preferred.
• A minimum of one year of clinical experience in a physical therapy setting is required, while five years is highly preferred, specifically in outpatient care.
• Demonstrated proficiency in the application of advanced physical therapy techniques and methodologies.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills essential for evaluating patient needs and tailoring solutions accordingly.
• Excellent communication skills to foster effective relationships with patients and collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team.

Preferred Experience

Experience in developing and implementing outpatient treatment plans using evidence-based practices is preferred, particularly with an emphasis on manual therapy techniques and functional rehabilitation. Familiarity with modern physical therapy tools and software for patient management will also be advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary range for this position is competitive, between USD 100,000 and 120,000 annually, based on experience and qualifications.
