As the Program Coordinator for the Inland Empire East Area, you'll become the primary Soccer Shots representative for your assigned schools and childcare partners. You'll deliver exceptional soccer enrichment programs, build meaningful relationships with directors, teachers, and families, develop new community partnerships, and play an important role in expanding our impact throughout the Redlands, Loma Linda, Yucaipa, Beaumont and Grand Terrance Area community. Position Overview The Program Coordinator is the Area Lead who oversees Soccer Shots programs throughout the Inland Empire East Area, with a primary focus on preschool and early childhood programs while supporting continued growth into youth programs and community partnerships. This role combines leadership, coaching, relationship management, community outreach, and program development. You'll ensure every child receives a fun, engaging, educational, and safe Soccer Shots experience while serving as the trusted point of contact for your assigned schools and childcare centers. What You'll Do Deliver Outstanding Soccer Programs Coach engaging, age-appropriate Soccer Shots sessions for children ages 18 months through 10 years. Bring energy, enthusiasm, and creativity to every session. Teach soccer fundamentals through imaginative games and activities. Foster confidence, teamwork, respect, perseverance, and character development in every child. Create a safe, welcoming, inclusive environment where every child can succeed. Lead Your Territory Oversee Soccer Shots programs throughout the Inland Empire East Area. Ensure every location consistently delivers an exceptional Soccer Shots experience. Manage daily program operations, attendance, scheduling, equipment, and program quality. Maintain high standards of professionalism, organization, communication, and customer service. Build Strong Relationships Serve as the primary Soccer Shots contact for Fontana area preschools, childcare centers, schools, and community partners. Develop strong, lasting relationships with preschool directors, teachers, and staff. Communicate professionally and proactively with parents and caregivers. Represent Soccer Shots with enthusiasm, professionalism, and integrity throughout the community. Grow Our Community Partnerships As the Area Lead, you'll play an important role in expanding Soccer Shots throughout the Inland Empire East Area. Responsibilities include: Develop and strengthen long-term partnerships with preschool directors, childcare centers, schools, and community organizations. Identify and pursue new partnership opportunities that bring Soccer Shots to more children and families. Represent Soccer Shots during school visits, networking opportunities, and community events. Partner with leadership to launch new school accounts and community programs. Deliver an exceptional experience that encourages schools and families to become lifelong Soccer Shots partners. Grow as a Leader Lead by example through professionalism, positivity, and accountability. Assist with mentoring and supporting future coaches as our team expands. Help maintain coaching excellence across multiple locations. Take on increasing leadership responsibilities as Soccer Shots continues to grow. Schedule This position offers a pathway toward full-time employment as our programs continue to grow. Programs are primarily scheduled: Weekdays between approximately 9:00 AM and 5:30 PM , with daily schedules varying based on school requirements and locations. Additional evening or weekend opportunities may be available for community events, public programs, camps, or special activities. Required Qualifications & Employment Requirements Applicants must meet the following qualifications to be considered. Education & Experience Minimum of 12 completed semester units in Early Childhood Education (ECE) or Child Development (required). Experience working with young children in a preschool, childcare, educational, recreation, or youth sports environment. Genuine passion for working with children and helping them learn, grow, and succeed. Strong leadership, communication, relationship-building, and organizational skills. Dependable, self-motivated, professional, and eager to grow. Employment Requirements Because Soccer Shots partners with licensed preschools and childcare centers, applicants must also satisfy all employment requirements necessary to work in licensed childcare settings, including: Successfully pass a DOJ/FBI Live Scan Background Check (paid for by Soccer Shots). Successfully pass a Child Abuse History Clearance , if required. Provide documentation of a current Tuberculosis (TB) Test/Clearance . Provide proof of MMR (Measles, Mumps & Rubella) immunization. Provide proof of Tdap (Tetanus, Diphtheria & Pertussis) vaccination. Maintain any additional health clearances required by partnering schools or childcare facilities. Additional Requirements Reliable transportation with the ability to travel throughout the Inland Empire East Area. Valid California driver's license and proof of insurance. CPR/First Aid Certification (or willingness to obtain). Ability to actively coach outdoors by standing, jogging, demonstrating soccer skills, and enthusiastically engaging with children throughout each session.
