The ideal candidate has hands-on experience working with pediatric populations within a school setting and is skilled with tracheostomy and G-tube care. Your attention to detail, compassionate approach, and ability to respond calmly in urgent situations will make a lasting impact on students and staff.

Qualifications:

• Active RN or LPN license in Georgia
• Previous experience as a school nurse and/or with pediatric patients
• Proficiency in trach and G-tube care is required
• Strong clinical assessment, communication, and organizational skills
• Ability to collaborate with students, families, and school staff

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide daily nursing care for students, including medication administration and emergency interventions
• Monitor and manage students with chronic health conditions, specifically those requiring trach or G-tube support
• Maintain accurate health records and care plans in compliance with policies and regulations
• Educate students, staff, and families on health and safety topics
• Serve as a resource for health-related issues and coordinate care with community providers as needed
