Schedule: Day Shift | Monday Friday | 11:00 AM 7:00 PM
Guaranteed Hours: 40 Hours/Week

About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for a Pediatric Surgery Operating Room contract opportunity in Atlanta, Georgia. This role involves delivering safe, high-quality perioperative nursing care across multiple pediatric surgical specialties while collaborating with surgeons and the interdisciplinary team in a fast-paced operating room environment.
Responsibilities
Provide comprehensive perioperative nursing care for pediatric surgical patients throughout the surgical process.
Prepare operating rooms, equipment, and surgical instruments while maintaining sterile technique.
Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and the surgical team to ensure safe and efficient patient care.
Document patient care accurately using Epic EMR and follow established perioperative protocols.
Float as needed to support departmental operations and maintain continuity of patient care.
Requirements
Active Registered Nurse (RN) License required.
Minimum 2 years of Operating Room nursing experience required (office surgery experience not accepted).
Prior travel nursing and charge nurse experience required.
Current BLS and PALS certifications required.
Experience with Epic EMR; Neuro, Orthopedic, ENT, General Surgery, and Ophthalmology experience required. Pediatric OR experience preferred, and scrub experience is preferred.
