HR Coordinator

Support PTI's day-to-day HR operations in Kennesaw Serve as the first point of contact for routine employee questions and escal… Coordinate new-hire activities, including documentation, system access, orientation, and internal communications Coordinate offboarding, documentation, system updates, benefit notices, equipment follow-up, and employee support Maintain accurate, organized, and confidential personnel records and process routine employee changes Maintain accurate employee data in the HRIS Support benefit enrollment, life events, open enrollment, employee questions, and vendor coordination Review HRIS, benefits, and payroll data for accuracy and develop toward payroll backup responsibilities Coordinate job postings, applications, interviews, pre-employment steps, and offer documentation Communicate with candidates and partner with hiring managers to support recruitment Support engagement, recognition, well-being, and retention activities Maintain employment records, notices, and compliance documentation and track recurring deadlines Audit employee data, benefit eligibility, payroll information, and personnel records Maintain and improve HR policies, procedures, workflows, job descriptions, templates, and resources Occasionally support office and cross-functional administrative, customer, or team priorities Requirements Associate degree in a related field, or equivalent education and experience Entry-level candidates with strong potential, or two to four years of hands-on HR, payroll, benefits, or related experience Exposure to HR operations, HRIS, benefits, onboarding, offboarding, and recruitment Basic payroll exposure preferred Knowledge of employee records, benefits support, data accuracy, employment law fundamentals, and confidentiality Experience or aptitude with HRIS and payroll platforms; ADP Workforce Now helpful Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Outlook, and Word Ability to communicate clearly and professionally Ability to balance multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy Sound judgment and discretion when handling confidential information Curiosity, initiative, and desire to learn and grow in Human Resources Collaborative and adaptable, with ownership, follow-through, and willingness to support team priorities Core Competencies Demonstrates proficiency in HR operations, including onboarding, offboarding, and benefits administration, while maintaining data accuracy and confidentiality.
