We are looking for a PERITO ELECTRICISTA to join the team of JLL located in the facilities of our client, a renowned multinational company.

Purpose of the Position:

The electric technician performs corrective, preventive activities and inspections of the utility equipment and electrical systems of the facility: generators, electrical substations, power distribution systems (high voltage, low voltage), chillers, cooling towers, boilers, air compressors, water systems, vacuum systems, HVAC systems, etc. Assists the installation team in maintenance and repair efforts, as well as in the independent performance of defined tasks.

Responsibilities:

• Knowledge of the integral practices of Safe Work, especially with respect to energized work, work at heights and confined spaces.
• Ability to recognize, evaluate and mitigate or eliminate the risk.
• Ability to understand and use the appropriate personal protective equipment for the associated tasks.
• Perform and help identify and implement strategies to ensure safe, reliable and efficient electrical equipment and devices.
• Provide technical assistance, training and support in advanced electrical maintenance, repair, installation, troubleshooting and practical repair guidance to support site teams.
• Perform other work that includes practical repair and maintenance work in mechanics, electricity, plumbing, building automation systems, card access systems, gate systems, building envelope systems, grounds and parking, interior finishing systems, lighting systems and various other tasks associated with the operation of a commercial property.
• Perform inspections and preventive rounds of systems and equipment, and ensure that work orders are complied with according to the applicable procedure.
• Instruct electrical helpers on the electrical part of the utilities such as: air conditioning, chillers, cooling towers, water pumps, boilers, industrial air compressors and vacuum pumps, high voltage electrical system, generator group.
• Possess practical skills and knowledge to complete the necessary electrical repairs and maintenance of the facility (including, but not limited to: HVAC, lighting, emergency power, transfer switches, uninterruptible power supply (UPS) sources, vertical transportation, life safety, and building automation systems) using standard industry tools and in accordance with all codes and laws.

Requirements:

• Hold a License of Electric Technician.
• 2+ years of experience as an Electric Technician, performing maneuvers with medium / high voltage circuit breakers.
• Driver's license.
• Knowledge in Predictive Maintenance Program (desirable)
