Marketing Project Lead

Reports to: VP of Brand & Communications Department: Marketing FLSA Category: Non-Exempt Summary The Marketing Project Lead serves as the operational backbone of the institution's marketing and communications functions, ensuring high-quality execution of creative deliverables across the institution and its centers. This role manages workflows, timelines, capacity, and the coordination of people and resources to keep campaigns moving forward and on track, working within an established institutional strategy, and in close partnership with the VP of Brand & Communications. Essential Functions Coordinates marketing and creative projects from intake through completion, ensuring work aligns with organizational priorities and moves forward efficiently. Works with VP to translate ideas, requests, and strategic goals into clear project plans with defined scope, deliverables, audiences, channels, timelines, and execution steps. Owns campaign architecture and manages execution of marketing campaigns. Oversees collection of all data to track and analyze relevant KPIs for future decision-making. Ensure that projects and deliverables align with organizational messaging, goals, and brand standards. Coordinates creative team members, leadership, sector sales leads, and contractors to support project execution. Monitor project progress, timelines, priorities, and capacity while identifying gaps or roadblocks, and help ensure work is completed on time and aligned with quality expectations. Develop, maintain, and improve project systems and tools, calendars, templates, workflows, Asana projects, intakes, and other operational tools that support consistency and efficiency. Maintain clear communication with stakeholders. Collaborate with VP on annual, quarterly, and campaign planning efforts. Operates with flexibility in a collaborative environment and may contribute across a variety of content, communications, and digital initiatives as organizational needs evolve. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or related field of study is preferred Minimum of 4 years as a marketing professional, with at least two years in a supervisory capacity Resonance with the mission, vision, and ethos of The Seattle School, the Allender Center, and the Center for Transforming Engagement Deep knowledge of best practices, trends, and developments in digital marketing, promotions/sales, and public relations; email marketing, digital ads, social media, mobile, online analytic tools Working knowledge of content, design, and campaign deliverables Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Skilled at building and refining checklists, templates, and workflows Experience in budget preparation and administration helpful Strong organizational, administrative, and project management skills required Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills required Integrity and high standards of professional conduct required Proficiency with Google Apps, Microsoft Office, and social media channels Familiarity with CRM systems, project management systems (specifically Asana), and WordPress This is a part-time, nonexempt position scheduled to work 20 hours per week. The hourly pay range for this position is $31.25-$33.65, depending on qualifications and experience. This position is not eligible for employer-sponsored benefits. The work schedule is flexible and may include a combination of remote and on-campus work, based on departmental needs and institutional priorities.
