Work Environment

As a Physical Therapist in our organization, you will work closely with a team of healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care and conduct regular case conferences to evaluate treatment plans.

Key Responsibilities

In this role, you will:

• Direct physical therapy interventions aimed at preventing disability, relieving pain, and improving client functionality in accordance with individualized care plans.
• Oversee the work of physical therapy assistants, ensuring correct implementation of therapy protocols to achieve the best possible patient outcomes.
• Critically evaluate clients' conditions through detailed assessments using a variety of diagnostic tests, including assessments of muscle, nerve, and joint functionality.
• Assess clients' home environments to make actionable recommendations aimed at enhancing their independence and overall rehabilitation success.
• Provide hands-on physical therapy services as prescribed by physicians, including administering manual therapy techniques and therapeutic exercises.
• Apply additional treatments such as massage and traction, and effectively utilize physical agents as part of therapy regimens.
• Participate actively in the interdisciplinary team approach, contributing to case discussions and collaboratively updating care plans based on patient progress and feedback.
• Document clinical findings meticulously, preparing initial evaluations, care plans, progress notes, and discharge summaries to maintain comprehensive client records.
• Educate clients and their families on therapeutic devices and overall therapy programs, ensuring that they are well-informed and capable of supporting their own recovery processes.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The ideal candidate will work with a diverse range of patients, from post-surgical individuals to those managing chronic conditions. You will be responsible for tailoring therapy plans to meet the unique needs of each client, emphasizing individualized care approaches that enhance their wellbeing and functional independence. This role demands an understanding of varied rehabilitation needs and a commitment to fostering strong relationships with clients and their families.

Qualifications

The successful candidate will possess the following qualifications:

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• A valid state PT license, maintaining good standing.
• Current CPR certification to ensure patient safety during all therapeutic interactions.
• Exemplary interpersonal communication skills to effectively engage with clients, families, and interdisciplinary teams.
• A strong foundation in clinical competencies with a passion for delivering high-quality patient-centered care.

Preferred Experience

We are looking for candidates with at least one (1) year of professional experience as a Physical Therapist, ideally within acute care or home care settings. Experience supervising clinical staff, particularly Physical Therapy Assistants, is a plus, along with a track record of positive patient outcomes and practice improvement initiatives.

Compensation and Benefits

High Energy Body & Home Care offers competitive compensation for this full-time position, with an attractive salary range of USD 100,000–120,000 annually.
