Production Supervisor II

Job Description As a member of the Production team, the Production Superintendent will be responsible for the production department of their assigned shift, coordinating all activities related to the planning, directing, and overseeing of the production process. They will analyze the plant’s personnel and capital resources to select the optimal strategy of meeting the production goals, reducing costs wherever possible, and ensuring products are produced on time and correctly. Responsibilities Direct and coordinate the activities of employees engaged in the assembly of seats Develop, plan, and establish work schedules, assignments, and production sequences to meet production goals Prioritize, organize, and meet customer demands in a JIT environment Oversee production tracking, quality controls systems, maintenance, and other operational reports to detect and resolve production problems Provide guidance and direction to subordinates, including setting and monitoring performance standards Support training initiatives, standardization efforts, and special projects as needed Primary work time will be spent on production floor leading the team Flexibility with work schedule Experience Requirements 3+ years experience in Production function Experience in manufacturing environment Previous Kaizen experience including leading a Kaizen event Previous experience with launch of new programs Proficient with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills Preferred Requirements Associate degree in business, operations, manufacturing, or related field Knowledge of AS400 system Knowledge of SAP system Knowledge of Foundry (Palantir) application Equal Opportunity Employer Lear Corporation is committed to fair, merit‑based employment practices and equal opportunity.
