About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Medical Surgical/Telemetry Duration: 20 weeks (with possibility of extension) Shift: Rotating Hours per Shift: 12 Hours Experience: 18 months combined permanent experience in the specialty License: Permanent Ohio license or compact license Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS Must-Have: - Must have 18 months of recent Medical Surgical/Telemetry experience. - Must work at least every other holiday. - ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate assessment must be passed. Description: We are seeking a Medical Surgical/Telemetry Registered Nurse. The position involves providing direct patient care in a dynamic hospital environment. Potential for floating to various units to care for similar patient populations. Travelers should be prepared to handle patients on ventilators. Rotating shifts include nights and days, with variable hours as needed. Nurses must possess a strong background in medical-surgical and telemetry nursing. References from previous supervisors or managers are required for submission. Active certifications must be held at the time of application, not pending. A background check will be conducted, and any open cases will disqualify candidates. Health requirements include a negative drug screen that must be updated annually. All candidates must be nicotine-free unless exempt as specified. Additional modules and assessments may be required pre-employment.
