About Us:
Barsan Global Logistics is a leading international freight forwarding and logistics company operating in more than 65 countries worldwide. We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated FCL Import Specialist to join our growing U.S. team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and manage ocean FCL import shipments from origin to final delivery.
- Communicate with overseas agents, carriers, customers, truckers, and warehouses.
- Arrange customs clearance and monitor shipment compliance requirements.
- Review shipping documents including Bills of Lading, commercial invoices, packing lists, and arrival notices.
- Track shipments and proactively update customers on shipment status.
- Verify and process vendor invoices and customer billing.
- Resolve shipment delays, demurrage, detention, and operational issues.
- Maintain accurate records within the company's operating system.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years of experience in Ocean Import Freight Forwarding.
- Strong knowledge of FCL import operations and U.S. import procedures.
- Familiarity with Customs regulations, ISF filing, and ocean carrier processes.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to manage multiple shipments and deadlines simultaneously.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Experience with freight forwarding software is a plus.
