Job Overview

Join our dynamic Cardiac Catheterization and Electrophysiology (EP) Lab Holding Area team, where nurses provide specialized care across the continuum of procedural services. The Holding Area serves as a critical hub for pre-procedure preparation, post-procedure recovery, and Phase I/II PACU-level care for patients with coronary artery disease, structural heart disease, peripheral vascular disease, cardiac arrhythmias, and heart failure.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct patient assessments and provide education.
• Support procedural activities within the Cardiac Catheterization and EP Lab.
• Monitor hemodynamic status of patients.
• Assist in moderate-sedation recovery.
• Manage acute and non-acute clinical situations in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary environment.
• Commit to exceptional patient outcomes throughout the care continuum.

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) License.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification.
• Recent experience in Cath and EP Lab preferred.
• Telemetry experience required.

Schedule and Work Environment

This position requires a full-time commitment of 40 hours per week, performed across four 10-hour shifts. The role includes a day/night rotation and may involve occasional weekend shifts based on unit needs.
