Responsibilities include strategically planning education to balance optimal and efficient patient care, ensuring staff, patient, and physician satisfaction, fostering cooperative partnerships with other departments and professional groups, and maintaining patient‑centeredness, patient and staff safety. The role promotes evidence‑based practice, supports productivity targets, and advances the strategic vision of the Oregon Nursing Center of Excellence. The educator manages change constructively, promotes a team‑based approach, and models professional standards and expectations. Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (or Nursing/Education). Completion of a master’s degree within 3 years of hire is preferred. Oregon Registered Nurse License upon hire. National Provider BLS certification (American Heart Association). Six years of nursing experience with progressive leadership roles. Experience in critical care education preferred.
