JOOLA is looking for an energetic, customer-focused full-time Retail Shift Lead to join our flagship store team. This is your chance to be part of a brand-new, dynamic retail experience rooted in sport, style, and community.

As a JOOLA Retail Shift Lead, you’ll be the face of our brand in-store. You’ll create welcoming, educational, and energetic interactions that inspire our customers—from first-time players to seasoned pros.

Responsibilities:

\n

\n

\n
• Deliver a best-in-class customer experience by connecting with customers, understanding their needs, and recommending the right JOOLA products.
\n
• Act as Manager on Duty (MOD) when needed, overseeing store flow, customer experience, and associate support.
\n
• Open and close the store with confidence, following operational and security procedures.
\n
• Support onboarding and ongoing training of new team members, fostering a positive and knowledgeable environment.
\n
• Set the tone for service, teamwork, and professionalism on every shift by leading by example.
\n
• Assist with daily priorities, scheduling needs, and operational communication as directed by the Store Manager.
\n
• Ensure store organization, cleanliness, and merchandising aligns with premium brand presentation and seasonal strategy.
\n
• Assist with inventory management, including receiving shipments and ensuring accurate restocking.
\n
• Adapt to evolving product assortments, operational strategies, and customer expectations to maintain a fresh and dynamic retail experience.
\n
• Uphold JOOLA’s mission and values in every interaction by promoting inclusivity, innovation, and inspiration.
\n
• Take ownership of responsibilities and follow through on individual and team tasks.
\n
• Be consistent and dependable in attendance, punctuality, and performance.
\n
• Remain calm, solution-oriented, and adaptable in fast-paced or high-pressure situations.

Qualifications:

\n

\n

\n
• 1+ year of retail, customer service, or relevant experience (keyholder or leadership experience required).
\n
• Enthusiasm for pickleball, sports, or active lifestyle brands.
\n
• Familiarity with pickleball is a plus, including basic rules, paddle technology, and accessories.
\n
• Proven ability to lead by example, coach peers, and support a team-first culture.
\n
• Excellent communication, time management, and problem-solving skills.
\n
• Availability Requirements:
\n
• Must be available five full days per week, 2 of which must be Saturday and Sunday.
\n
• A blackout period will be in effect from November 21 through January 14, during which time time-off requests outside of stated availability cannot be accommodated.
\n
• A high standard of integrity, responsibility, and professionalism.
\n
• Ability to stay composed, adaptable, and focused in a fast-paced retail environment.
\n
