Specialty: Internal Medicine / Family Practice (Board Certified or Board Eligible)\n
Shift: Monday – Friday | 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM \n
Hours: Full-Time (40 hours/week)\n
Position Summary \n
\nThe Primary Care Physician is responsible for providing comprehensive outpatient and/or inpatient primary care services, including diagnosis, treatment, management, and coordination of patient care. The physician will work in a clinical setting delivering high-quality, patient-centered medical care across adult and geriatric populations.\n
Key Responsibilities \n
\nDirect Patient Care (Approx. 90%)\n
\n•    Provide complete primary care services including evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment of patients \n
\n•    Conduct patient history and physical examinations \n
\n•    Order and interpret diagnostic tests (lab work, imaging, ECG, etc.) \n
\n•    Prescribe and manage medications in accordance with clinical guidelines \n
\n•    Manage acute, chronic, and preventive care conditions \n
\n•    Provide perioperative and inpatient care when required \n
\n•    Participate in emergency response, including codes and rapid response situations \n
\n•    Perform clinical procedures within scope of practice, including but not limited to: \n
\no    Abscess incision and drainage \n
\no    Thoracentesis \n
\no    Paracentesis \n
\no    Lumbar puncture \n
\no    Nasogastric and gastric tube insertion \n
\no    Foley catheter placement \n
\no    Joint aspiration/injection \n
\no    Removal of lines and tubes \n
\no    ACLS procedures \n
Care Coordination & Clinical Responsibilities \n
\n•    Coordinate patient care with specialists and interdisciplinary teams \n
\n•    Ensure appropriate admission, treatment planning, and discharge planning \n
\n•    Provide end-of-life care discussions and advance care planning \n
\n•    Ensure timely follow-up and continuity of care \n
\n•    Communicate effectively with referring providers and care teams \n
\n•    Initiate appropriate referrals (e.g., social work, behavioral health, community services) \n
\n•    Ensure proper documentation of patient encounters and medical records \n
Documentation & Administrative Duties (Approx. 10%)\n
\n•    Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in the electronic medical record system \n
\n•    Complete encounter documentation within required timelines \n
\n•    Participate in clinical meetings and care coordination activities \n
\n•    Support quality improvement and compliance initiatives \n
Required Qualifications \n
\n•    MD or DO degree from an accredited institution \n
\n•    Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine or Family Practice \n
\n•    Active, unrestricted medical license in any U.S. state or territory (must be eligible for multi-state practice as required) \n
\n•    Current BLS and ACLS certification \n
\n•    Valid DEA registration \n
\n•    NPI number \n
\n•    Completion of accredited residency in Internal Medicine or Family Practice \n
\n•    Strong clinical experience in primary care settings \n
