Sr Accounts Payable Analyst

Sr Accounts Payable Analyst
LHH Recruitment Solutions is partnered with a global Insurance company in Downtown, Manhattan (Financial District). This position is an open-ended contract position with the potential to evolve into a permanent role. We are searching for a candidate with experience in a high volume and multi-entity environment.
Responsibilities:
- Review, verify, and process vendor invoices for accuracy, proper approval, and coding.
- Match invoices to purchase orders, contracts, and supporting documentation.
- Process weekly and monthly payment runs via ACH, wire transfers, checks, and other payment methods.
- Monitor accounts payable aging and ensure timely payments to vendors.
- Communicate professionally with vendors regarding payment status, account reconciliation, and issue resolution.
- Ensure compliance with vendor onboarding procedures and internal controls.
- Review employee expense reports for compliance with company policies.
- Process reimbursements accurately and within established timelines.
- Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual closing activities.
- Prepare accounts payable reports and supporting schedules as requested.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field strongly preferred
- 5+ years of progressive Accounts Payable experience.
- Experience within a Corporate Services environment is helpful but not required.
Schedule:
- 4 days per week in office, 1 day remote (downtown, Manhattan)
- 9 - 6 PM is typical schedule, but flexible on start/end time as long as candidate is working 40 hours per week
Pay Details: $37.00 to $41.00 per hour
