• Title: Janitorial Technician

• Location: Fort Dodge, IA

• Salary: Up to $19.00/hr

• Hours: 6:00A to 2:30P / Dayshift

What Will I Be Doing?

Here are just a few things you can expect to do daily:

• Teammembersmust be able to work in a team oriented and safety conscious environment. "Safety First" expectations include, but are not limited to, PJHA process, Observation process, and compliance with all company / site safety guidelines and procedures.

• Assigned tasks list to include, but not limited to; perform housekeeping and janitorial duties to maintain offices,restrooms,and public areas in clean and orderly condition.

• Removes trash from offices and other work areas. Stripping and waxing of floors, burnishing waxed floors,cleaning,andmaintainingcarpeted floors, and floor scrubbing of ceramic tile floors.Assistother service personnel with minor facility service repair. Follow established routine.Employeewill performany and allother duties that are assigned by theresponsible supervisor.

• Must be able to use hand tools and cleaning machineryon a daily basissuch as floor sweepers and brooms.

• Must have the flexibility to work all shifts including holidays and weekends as demanded by the job.

• Compliance with all company / customer regulations, policies, and procedures.

• Achieve performance expectations set forth as part of performance appraisals to include employee development planning.

• Communicates with all team members toassistthe development ofshort- and long-rangeplanning in assist of the company's goals andobjectives

• Maintain personal toolsrequiredfor your job.

• Meet physical requirements of the job.

• Maintain good attendancein accordance withCompany policy

• Perform assigned tasks in a safety, effective, and efficient manner.

• Accurate and timely administrative duties to include, but not limited to, time accounting and work order completion.

• Mustmaintainpositive customer and employee relations.

• Experience: Two years' experience in Janitorial / Custodial applications desirable.

• Substantial lifting (up to 50 pounds) is required

• Ability to move for extended or continuous periods of time

• Ability to ascend and descend staircases, ladders, and/or step stools

• Ability to operate applicable hand tools, power tools, and equipment

• Ability to operate forklifts or other vehicles in a safe manner

• Ability to wear a respirator while performing job duties

• Communication/ Expression -The ability to communicate information and ideas so others will understand.

• Information Ordering - The ability to arrange things or actions in a certain order or pattern according to a specific rule or set of rules (e.g., patterns of numbers, letters, words, pictures, mathematical operations).

The company will not pay less than minimum wage for this role.

The compensation for the position is: $16.15 - $19.00
