Shipping Associate

Established organization is seeking a Shipping Associate in the Culver City, CA area. The role is Monday-Friday on site from 1:00pm-10pm. Pay ranges from $23-25/hr.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Oversee all outbound shipments, including inspection, packing, and preparation of accurate shipping documentation for both domestic and international orders.
• Monitor and maintain packaging material inventory to ensure sufficient supply for shipping operations.
• Manage the packing and shipping of customer orders, as well as coordinate logistics for trade show shipments.
• Arrange transportation and work with carriers to ensure timely and efficient delivery.
• Perform additional related tasks as required.

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1-3 years of experience using shipping systems such as FedEx, UPS, and DHL.
• Shipping experience preferred, especially within a manufacturing environment.
• Experience handling international commercial shipments.
• Strong proficiency in Google Workspace and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple deadlines.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Must be a U.S. Person (U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident) due to involvement with U.S. federal contracts.
• Employment is contingent upon successful completion of a background check and drug screening.
