Position Overview

Pond Lehocky Giordano is seeking an organized, detail-oriented Case Status Manager to join our team in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. This individual will be responsible for monitoring case progress, maintaining accurate case records, coordinating with attorneys and support staff, and ensuring timely communication regarding case developments. The ideal candidate is proactive, highly organized, and comfortable managing multiple cases in a fast-paced legal environment.

Responsibilities

• Monitor case progress and ensure case files remain current and accurate.
• Review case records to identify outstanding documents, pending actions, and potential delays.
• Coordinate with attorneys, paralegals, and other team members to obtain updates and move cases forward.
• Communicate with clients regarding case status, outstanding information, and next steps.
• Track important deadlines, appointments, hearings, and case milestones.
• Follow up with insurance companies, medical providers, and other relevant parties to obtain necessary information.
• Maintain accurate documentation of case updates and communications in the firm’s case management system.
• Identify cases requiring additional attention and escalate issues to the appropriate team members.
• Assist with workflow management to ensure cases progress efficiently through each stage of the legal process.
• Prepare status reports and provide updates to attorneys and leadership as needed.
• Ensure client information and case documentation are handled confidentially and in accordance with firm procedures.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a legal, case management, administrative, or client service role preferred.
• Experience in workers’ compensation or personal injury law is a plus.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple cases, prioritize competing deadlines, and follow through on outstanding tasks.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and electronic case management systems.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to identify issues before they cause delays.
• Professional, empathetic approach to client communication.
• Ability to work collaboratively across teams in a fast-paced environment.
