Respiratory Unit - Respiratory Therapist

Shift: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM

Experience:

• 36 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.

• 12 months of acute care experience within the last 2 years.

• 12 months of Trauma Level 1 facility is required.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a license (required after submission).

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Local & travel allowed. Candidates living <90 miles from facility will be processed as local.

• COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

• No current placement allowed at Program: HealthTrust Program - MaineHealth.

Travel Pairs are not accepted.

Required Skills/Experience: tertiary, teaching hospital experience, level 1 trauma

Preferred Skills/Experience: NICU/PICU Caridothoracic

Required Credentials: NRP for NICU

Shift & Scheduling: Call Requirements: yes 2 hours for the oncoming shift

Floating Requirements: as RRT , some NICU/PICU. acute care pediatrics and ED required as well as adult acute and critical care

7 days maximum time off

1 Charge/Lead reference required from within the last 2 years

1 Manager/Supervisor reference required from within the last 2 years

Driver’s license required for submission

Certifications:

• BLS (Basic Life Support)

• RRT (Registered Respiratory Therapist)

• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
