We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team at Avir at Camp Wood in Uvalde, Texas. As a key member of our healthcare community, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our patients and residents.
About the Role
As a Registered Nurse (RN) at Avir at Camp Wood, you will be responsible for providing high-quality nursing care to our patients and residents. You will work closely with our interdisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans, monitor patient progress, and ensure seamless communication among team members. Your exceptional nursing skills and dedication to patient-centered care will be essential in creating a positive and supportive environment for our patients, families, and staff.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, performing bedside assessments, and developing individualized care plans
- Collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure effective communication and coordination of care
- Monitor patient progress, identify areas for improvement, and adjust care plans as needed
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to optimize patient outcomes and satisfaction
- Document patient information accurately and timely in accordance with facility policies and regulations
- Demonstrate a commitment to excellence in patient care, teamwork, and customer service
Requirements
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the state of Texas
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Prior experience in a long-term care or similar setting
