• Assist in the collection of specimens and prepare samples for testing as required.
• Thoroughly document all procedures, train new hires or interns, and contribute to the maintenance of lab quality assurance standards.
• Uphold a clean, safe laboratory environment while adhering to all regulatory and accreditation standards.

Educational Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or a related allied health degree along with ASCP/AMT certification preparation.

Certification Requirements

• ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) to be obtained within one year of hire.
• Maintain active certification for the entire duration of employment.
