Preconstruction ManagerLocation: Winchester, VA - On-SiteKey Skillsets: Preconstruction Manager experience with a General ContractorLocal/Non-Local: Local is preferred, but non-local is consideredWork Authorization: U.S. citizens and Green CardRound of Interviews: Screening, Manager interview, Team interviewJob Description: Seeking a Preconstruction Manager to support our Warfel team at a variety of our locations. As a Preconstruction Manager, duties will include working closely with clients, design consultants, and other project stakeholders to ensure that program, design and preconstruction milestones are completed as part of the selected project delivery method.Job Responsibilities May Include, But Are Not Limited To, The Following:Collaborate with various departments including Business Development, Estimating, and Operations on project approach and required deliverables during the preconstruction phaseDevelop and maintain client and consultant relationshipsCoordinate client requests with project teamAssemble preconstruction deliverablesParticipate in Value Management processDevelop preconstruction schedules, master project schedules, project phasing, and site logistic plansParticipate in and lead the estimating process through Preconstruction and Hard Bid projectsCoordinate and obtain necessary project permitsCoordinate and lead the constructability review processReview contracts with clients and participate in contract negotiationsParticipate in transition of project to construction phaseCollaborate with Project Manager on procurement strategies and planningParticipate in proposal preparation and presentationsProvide competitive and accurate estimatesPrepare schematic estimatesProvide guidance and leadership to assigned project teamGather/track historical cost dataDevelop and maintain trade partner relationshipsOther duties, as assignedQualifications:Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, or Construction Management with a strong emphasis on managementMinimum of 5 years of preconstruction management or estimating experienceKnowledge of building systems and the construction processExcellent written and verbal communication skillsProven ability to work efficiently as a leader of a teamAbility to communicate effectively with all members of the client, design, and construction teamsExperience with Destini Software is a plusThis position may require jobsite visits occasionally.
