Job Description

K&R Staffing is seeking a friendly, dependable Counter Sales Representative for a company specializing in heavy-duty truck and 18-wheeler parts. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working with customers, has strong communication skills, and is comfortable learning and identifying truck parts. Responsibilities include assisting customers at the sales counter and over the phone, helping customers identify and locate the correct heavy-duty truck parts, providing excellent customer service throughout the purchasing process, looking up parts using computer systems, catalogs, and part numbers, processing customer orders and sales transactions accurately, answering questions regarding products, pricing, and availability, communicating with warehouse staff regarding inventory and order fulfillment, building positive relationships with customers and repeat accounts, and maintaining a clean and organized counter/work area.

Requirements include previous customer service experience, parts, automotive, diesel, or heavy-duty truck knowledge, previous counter sales or parts counter experience, comfort using computers and learning parts lookup systems, strong communication and problem-solving skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment. Ideal candidates may have experience in heavy-duty truck parts, 18-wheeler parts, diesel parts, automotive parts, parts departments, counter sales, inside sales, automotive retail, fleet maintenance, or truck repair environments.
