Position Overview

This role involves operating a flatbed truck with a truck-mounted forklift (Moffett) to deliver palletized stone and concrete materials to residential and commercial job sites. Most deliveries are in residential areas, requiring care, precision, and strong communication with customers.

When not on deliveries, you’ll assist with yard operations and equipment upkeep.

Please Note: This is a high-skill delivery role requiring precision in residential environments—not a dock-to-dock position.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely operate a Class B flatbed truck and/or dump truck for local deliveries
• Load and unload materials using a truck-mounted forklift (Moffett)
• Deliver to residential and commercial job sites with care to avoid property damage
• Communicate clearly and professionally with customers on-site
• Perform daily vehicle inspections and basic maintenance checks
• Secure loads properly and ensure DOT compliance at all times
• Assist with yard tasks, organization, and general operations as needed

Qualifications

• Valid Class B CDL (with required endorsements and medical card)
• Minimum 2 years of commercial driving experience
• Experience operating a forklift (Moffett experience a plus; training provided)
• Clean driving record
• Strong attention to detail and safety
• Self-starter with the ability to work independently
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, hands-on environment
• Good communication and customer service skills
