Develop and implement programs that reduce workplace injuries, vehicle incidents, and environmental risks. Conduct EHS audits, inspections, and compliance assessments. Serve as the facility subject matter expert for OSHA, EPA, DOT, RCRA, and environmental regulations. Manage environmental compliance programs including wastewater, stormwater, ammonia, asbestos, hazardous materials, and resource conservation initiatives. Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation and contingency plans. Partner with facility leadership to identify safety improvement opportunities and deploy best practices. Track EHS metrics, scorecards, dashboards, and compliance reporting. Support workers' compensation reviews and return-to-work programs. Coordinate permit applications and regulatory interactions with OSHA, EPA, and other agencies. Develop and deliver EHS training programs for employees and leadership teams. Lead emergency response planning and crisis management initiatives. Participate on facility crisis management teams during major incidents. Support continuous improvement projects and special assignments. Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Safety, Environmental Science, Risk Management, Industrial Hygiene, Environmental Engineering, or related field. Minimum 6+ years of Environmental, Health & Safety experience in manufacturing, distribution, logistics, or industrial operations. High School Diploma candidates may be considered with 9+ years of directly related EHS experience. Strong background in OSHA, EPA, DOT, RCRA, and environmental compliance programs. Experience conducting risk assessments, audits, inspections, and corrective action planning. Experience managing environmental programs such as wastewater, stormwater, hazardous materials, and industrial compliance. Proven ability to develop and deliver safety training programs across all organizational levels. Experience working with workers' compensation, incident investigations, and emergency response planning. Strong analytical skills with experience utilizing EHS metrics, dashboards, and scorecards. Ability to communicate complex regulatory requirements to operational leaders. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite. Ability to travel up to 50%.
