("Jamison") is currently seeking a qualified and motivated candidate for the position of Conference Room/Trade Show/Event Planner.Performs tasks that involve long range planning for conferences and trade shows. Analyzes site selection criteria, proficient in computer operation, developing brochures, registration materials, programs, schedules, and agenda data. Proficient in virtual meeting management and web broadcasting.BA/BS degree in hospitality or business management.Must have 6 years relevant conference center work experience.Extensive knowledge of composition, grammar, spelling, and punctuation.Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite.Manage and oversee all aspects of conferences and events hosted.Develop and coordinate event plans, including room setup and needs requests.Communicate with clients in a professional and personable manner to ensure their needs are met.Supervise a team of staff, delegate tasks and ensure high-quality service is provided.Coordinate with other departments in the facility, to ensure seamless execution of events.Conduct site visits with potential clients to showcase the facility and discuss event details.Negotiate contracts with clients to ensure profitability while maintaining the facility's reputation.Maintain budgets, financial records, and reports related to conference services.Monitor and maintain equipment and technology related to conference services.We are seeking candidates available to work onsite at various locations nationwide. This role requires candidates to be available to work in-person at designated sites nationwide.Clearance Level Required: Must be able to pass a Federal Background check.Jamison Professional Services, Inc.
