Buyer

Piper Companies is seeking a Buyer to support supply chain operations for a leading healthcare/medical device organization in the King of Prussia, PA area. The Buyer role is ideal for an early-career professional looking to grow within a fast-paced, collaborative environment while developing core procurement and supplier management skills.

Responsibilities of the Buyer:
• Review purchase requisitions and coordinate with internal teams and external partners to drive On-Time-In-Full delivery
• Create and manage purchase orders, ensuring timely placement and issue resolution
• Communicate with suppliers on production schedules, order status, and delivery timelines
• Identify and resolve supply chain issues including delays, discrepancies, and quality concerns
• Partner cross-functionally with Planning, Manufacturing, Engineering, Quality, and Finance teams
• Support inventory optimization, cost analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives

Qualifications of the Buyer:
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, or related field (required)
• 1+ year of procurement, purchasing, or supply chain experience OR relevant internship experience
• Strong communication skills with the ability to work with suppliers and internal stakeholders
• Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities independently
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data analysis fundamentals

Compensation for the Buyer includes:
• Salary range: $65,000 - $70,000 (Depending on Experience)
